Meccano is since its formation has been a company committed to developing innovative solutions. It has received awards throughout its career. Among them, the Technological Development TECNOS Merit, awarded by the government of Nuevo Leon, Mexico; the National Award for Technological Innovation ADIAT, the National Housing Award.

Meccano has crossed borders, reaching demanding and dynamic markets. The Star newspaper, one of the most influential in the Asia Pacific region rates the Meccano Building System as the newest and most suitable, with a drastic cost reduction of up to 30% compared to a traditional system, with only using 80% labor of workers without prior experience in construction.

In 2004, the company URBI with Santa Fe Villas project in Tijuana, Baja California was awarded the XIII Obras Cemex Award in the category of Affordable Housing Construction System using Meccano.

In 2007, in the context of National Award for Technological Innovation ADIAT 2007 acronym of the Mexican Association of Directors of Applied Research and Technological Development AC, was awarded Honorable Mention for the product "TRADIMECC" as one more contribution to innovation in disruptive building systems.

In 2008, Casas Geo won a National Housing Award, Paseo San Juan Development in Zumpango Edo. de Mexico, in the category of best execution of the project. Achieved by using the Tradimecc System,  awarded by ADIAT a year earlier. Horizon construction with Tradimecc Building System was 100,000 homes within three years.

The Club of Journalists of Mexico, awards Uriel Garcia Guerrero and Alejandro Alonso in December 2009 with the National Journalism Award for Technological Innovation of the series "recycling" in the "Green Homes Meccano" format aimed at a non-specialist audience whose contents are supported by competent authorities in each issue addressed. Disseminated through the website of the Presidency of the Republic and production Cepropie. the utility and practical application of award-winning work was the criteria to recognize and distinguish it. With the involvement of the host Laura Garcia , editor and cameraman Alejandro Ortega David Colin and Roberto Tadeo.
 

In 2010, again was awarded with Casas GEO National Housing Award 2010 for the project Punta del Mar, Acapulco Diamante, in the urban integration category, developed with the Tradimecc Building System. Again the Meccano Systems, highlighted by strong results provided by the manufacturer.

 

Recognition
On March 30, 2011, the Federal Government, the President of Mexico Lic. Felipe Calderon Hinojosa personally issued the 2,000,000  INFONAVIT house credit to a young family of Nogales Sonora. Their house was built by the DEREX construction company in the Sustainable Urban Development (DUIS) Lomas de Anza, using Meccano steel mold technology. Official ceremony at Los Pinos, Mexico City.
